The City
provides a full range of services for its citizens. These services
include police, fire, paramedic, emergency transportation, library,
recreation and parks, planning and development, street improvements and
lighting, and general administration. The City also operates a water
utility and provides for refuse collection and sanitation. In addition,
the City provides aid to its citizens in the form of residential and
commercial rehabilitation loans and economic development programs. The
City contracts with a private non-profit agency to operate its senior
citizen center.

Mobil
Recreation! -The city of Orange
brings recreation to you! Mobile Recreation is designed to bring
recreation activities to residents and youth who would otherwise not
have access to recreation programs. Sites vary throughout the city and
the hours are from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Sites will be closed during inclement
weather.

Community Gardens -
The
Community Gardens is located at
Main Street and Maple Avenue. The existing Community Gardens is 8,000
square feet in size with 52 individual plots (15 ft x 20 ft).
For Seniors
The City of Orange is proud to offer senior
services at the Orange Senior Center. There are a variety of free and
minimal cost services, workshops and classes offered to senior citizens.

The City of Orange Community Services Department plans several
holiday events each year.
This
secluded refuge offers the natural charm of mountain vistas, an
orange grove, native oak trees and a creek. Here, hikers,
naturalists and equestrians can enjoy the scenery as well as
interpretive programs at the visitor center.
Orange
County Zoo Displays animals native to the southwestern United States in
naturalistic habitats in eight acres of native plants and majestic
oak trees.
